Workspace#

On a Mac, use Cmd wherever this page says Ctrl.

Keys	What it does
`CtrlE`	Switch between MD Code and MD View
`CtrlS`	Save every open note now
`CtrlShiftF`	Turn focus mode on or off (in development)
`Esc`	Leave focus mode, or close the file list or Assistant drawer in a narrow window

Writing#

Keys	What it does
`CtrlB`	Bold
`CtrlI`	Italic
`CtrlZ`	Undo
`CtrlY`or`CtrlShiftZ`	Redo
`[[`	Suggest notes to link to
`CtrlEnter`	Open the wikilink under the cursor (MD View)
`CtrlClick`	Open a web link in a new tab (MD View)

Find#

Keys	What it does
`CtrlF`	Find and replace in the note
`CtrlG`	Next match
`CtrlShiftG`	Previous match
`CtrlD`	Also select the next match of the selection

File list#

Keys	What it does
`F2`	Rename
`Delete`	Move to the vault’s trash
`→`or`←`	Open or close a folder
`Alt↑`or`Alt↓`	Move up or down the list
`CtrlC`or`CtrlV`	Copy, then paste into the selected folder

Tabs#

Keys	What it does
`Delete`	Close the focused tab
`AltShift←`or`AltShift→`	Move the focused tab

Assistant (in development)#

Keys	What it does
`CtrlK`	Edit the selection with the assistant
`Enter`	Send a message, or run an edit
`ShiftEnter`	New line in a message
`CtrlEnter`	Accept an edit to a selection
`Esc`	Reject an edit to a selection

Find and replaceSearch inside the open note and replace what you find.
The file list and tabsBrowse, search and arrange your notes, and keep several open in tabs.
